2010 PASTA CRAB FEED ON APRIL 24TH!!
Save this date! Reno Central Rotary will hold the annual Crab and Pasta Feed on Saturday, April 24th at the Reno-Sparks Boys & Girls Club again this year. It will also serve as the club’s “Rotarians at Work Day” project. Be prepared for a great time once again. Loder Elementary School Coat Fund Drive
The club conducted a coat drive during the months of November and December and collected/purchased 250 coats for students and family members of Loder Elementary School
Salvation Army Bell Ringing
On December 5, 2009, Rotarians from Reno and Sparks rang the bell for the Salvation Army. A total of $4,543.86 was raised for this cause. Pictured below is Reno Central Rotarian John.
Turkey Dinner at Senior Citizen Center
On November 23, 2009, the Club purchased and served dinner to senior citizens at the Evelyn Mount Community Center. Students from the Culinary Arts Program of Washoe County School District cooked the meal.
Crab Feed Fundraiser
A couple of happy faces at the hugely successful fundraiser held May 2 at the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. Over 800 people attended and the event netted over $65,000.
The next Crab Feed will be April 20, 2010.
